Foundation Services:

After School Program (ASP) Scholarships

Scholarships of limited scope will be provided to students in active Foundation 2000 member schools that serve financially challenged families.  Scholarships are designed to provide supplementary support only and cannot fully fund any child for an entire school year.  (Additional funding sources may also be appropriate such as funding for Homeless families or through the Cobb County Foundation)

Teacher Impact Grants

Teachers in active Foundation 2000 member schools are encouraged to apply for grant funds not to exceed $250 to support classroom grants for innovative projects that cannot be funded through other school funds.  This is an annual grant cycle and grants are supported through an application review process.

Each Foundation member school has additional services that can be identified through accessing that school's website. These services include but are not limited to:
  • PTA Grants
  • Services for Homeless Families
  • After School Program (Elementary Only)
  • Clubs & Service Groups (Elementary, Middle and High)

Testimonials:

“As we prepare our students to be valuable contributors to our society in the 21st Century, two key trends emerge. First, the community must support and be a part of our public education system. Second, students who can take advantage of technological advances will be the differentiated leaders of tomorrow.”
Phil Hibbert, Asst. Supt. for Technology
Cobb County Public Schools

“ As parents, our interest is always what is best for all children. Having organizations that devote their time toward preparing our children for tomorrow brings the school, family, and community closer together.”
Jacqueline Crawford, Parent

“ Thank you so very much for all of your help. I am very thankful for all that you have done for me. I no longer feel alone here in Smyrna.”
Ana Paula Correia, Parent
